After-hours Emergency Customer Support
CU Village has always conducted 24x7x365 monitoring of our systems, and because of this, we usually know about a system issue almost as soon as it happens—and we work to resolve it right away. However, we know that emergencies can come up where you need to contact us after-hours to get immediate attention. For such circumstances, we have set up a special emergency e-mail address and phone number for you to use.
To ensure the highest level of after-hours emergency service when you need it, emergency changes and non-emergency contacts through the emergency e-mail address or phone number will be charged at a rate of $375 per incident per hour.
After-hours Emergency Customer Support
After-hours includes holidays, weekends, before 9:00 AM (EST) and after 5:00 PM (EST).

- Your contact information and a brief description of the issue in the message itself
- A member of our emergency response team will respond back to you right away
- Or call us at our emergency hotline at (888) 664-1333

How to Effectively Advertise on Your Site
Advertising within your Web site is an important tool in helping you increase awareness and usage of your products and services. Online ads, especially on your home page, can provide the quick hitting message you need to catch your members’ attention—if even only for a few seconds. At the same time, too many and/or overly showy ads can be perceived as a turn-off, unprofessional and even hurt the positive image you’re trying to build. For example, if everything is dancing and moving on your home page the implicit message you’re sending is that you’re a “hard sales” organization—think used cars salesman. The other risk by presenting too many ads at one time is that they may be viewed as one big blur and any message you’re trying to convey is lost in the din.
As with most things, balance, focus, and good management are needed with online advertising. This means having defined areas within your site for advertising as opposed to an anywhere and everywhere approach. It means well-designed ads that complement the image you’re trying to project and the design of your Web site. It also means including online advertising within you’re marketing plan so that it is in concert with your overall advertising efforts and using a systematic approach to presenting and managing ads on your site.
If you’re using the Ad Banner Management System in our content management system (CMS), then you are ahead of the game and have a powerful tool to use for online advertising. You also have available the expertise of our graphic artists and project leaders/Web site consultants to help you achieve the impact you’re shooting for.
To get the most out of the Ad Banner Management System (shown at left) make use of the scheduling and categorization features. This will help you target the right ads at the right time and in the right place. For example, you can target your latest training offering promotion to appear on your Education page, where members with the highest propensity to “buy” and interest in knowing about the promotion are likely to go. This helps to increase the effectiveness of your ads and ensures that the members that most need to know about a given promotion get the message.
With the Ad Banner Management System you can place ads created as graphics (i.e. .jpeg or .gif) or even in multimedia Flash ads. You can link these ads to any page or document on your site Of course, the graphic artists at CU Village.com are happy to customize or create ads especially for your league. And when you purchase this system, the development of 5 banner ads is included.
The Ad Banner Management System is an optional feature that you can purchase to use within our CMS. To learn how this system can help you market your products and services, contact your CU Village business consultant.
Product Highlight: Calendar of Events Module
When you’re scheduling seminars, large meetings, and training sessions, a calendar of event is a handy tool. If you’re using our CMS, you can use the Calendar of Events Module to help market your events to your members. With the Calendar of Events Module you can:
- Inform visitors about upcoming events
- Automatically remove past events from the calendar
- Limit the number of events that show at one time
- Display the events within your site’s content as either a list or a calendar
Visitors to your site can change the time range or the category displayed. This means your site’s visitors can view events in the best way for them.
The Calendar of Events Module is an optional feature that you can purchase to use within our CMS. To learn how this system can help you market your league’s upcoming events, contact your CU Village business consultant.
