ProCon

We worked with The ProCon Group on a few projects. First, we redesigned and developed the company’s Web site which features a custom design. The site was built using the CU Village.com CMS+ Content Management System (CMS). This system allows the administrator to assign editing and publishing rights down to the page level. We also developed a custom learning management system for the delivery of training courses. Finally, we created one of their online courses, the Board Governance Course, which consultants from other companies can use to learn The ProCon method.

Michigan Council of Women in Technology

This site features an online event registration module that helps the council conduct efficient, organized event registration, by enabling its members to promote their events online with a calendar of events; provide descriptions, pictures, and pricing; and update and maintain their events as they see fit. Registrations are sent to attendees via e-mail for fulfillment and they’ll also receive e-mail registration verification. Also, the system retains client/member billing and contact information for recordkeeping.

The site also provides a member registration system that lets people sign up for membership and pay dues online. It also generates reminder notices at planned intervals for membership renewal and then automatically updates the database once the member has renewed her membership. In addition, the site’s programming allows viewing of content on a member versus non-member basis; this includes the displaying of separate pricing based on whether the visitor to the site is a member or a nonmember

On the back-end (that is, not visible to the site’s visitors), the council can run rosters and reports, such as which individual has attended which events. Both membership and event registration systems have fully automated credit card processing gateways, set up by CU Village.
